When Bradbury first published his book we were still in the 1900s. But now that the technology has advanced so much right in front of us and the topics that Bradbury mentioned in the book Fahrenheit 451 were foreign to all human because we were still in the 1900s. The many things that Bradbury mentioned in his book were to develop in present time. the book mentioned many things that are true now in present day.
Clarisse shows Montag her ways of life while she makes him to realize in the world he is living. she shows him that he is living where something to us is very normal but in the society that is mentioned in the book it is illegal. Clarisse family to us the readers are portrayed as normal people but the society sees them as outsiders. beacause of them being free thinkers this lead to their deaths. Because of their deaths this makes Montag realize how fucked up is the society he lives in. Montag wants to be a free thinker and he tries to escape from a twisted society.
