I, Socrates

The past two days I learned the importance of sharing your opinions. its showed me that its another way to express yourself, learn and help you in a way to be more creative. This activity encouraged the class become more self-confident in expressing themselves, I hope we do another Socratic seminar.

• Graceland is also known as the "Bridge" between African and American culture
• Culture is a belief, art, society groups, etc.

Is Music Literature?

Music has lyrics to them which can be interpreted as a poem, and a poem is a literature. The poem is given a melody and set to a rhythm. I think that music can be considered literature.

Paul Simon: Graceland

Is it fair to says that the songs in the album "Graceland" were "by" Paul Simon?

In some ways, the songs were by Paul but in other ways, they were not because in the documentary it says that he went to Africa and was inspired by the people's music. He made the songs in his own unique ways. Although they were inspired by other cultures I feel like the songs were by Paul. This album has a mixture of many genres that were combined and were put in pauls style.

The gift of magi

This story is about a couple whi want to give each other gift. Their problem is that they both cant afford a gift for each other.
I would recrecommend this story because its sad and really interesting.

The monkey's paw

A monkey's paw was brought into a family that would grant three wishes to the family.
I would recommend this story because its really interesting and it has suspense.
